Dr. Aleksandra Poole has over 15 years of research experience in cancer and stem cell biology and product development for clinical and commercial use. Dr. Poole has a diverse research background, focused on cancer regulation and therapy treatments, stem cell growth and differentiation into high purity cell types and dendritic cell cancer therapies. She has an extensive experience translating preclinical work into clinical therapies, in both academic and industry setting, including her work with the team responsible for the GRNOPC1 Phase 1 first-in-human clinical trial for spinal cord injury, Phase 1 trial in SMA Type 1, as well as a Phase 2 and Phase 3 trials in metastatic melanoma.  Dr Poole currently holds a  senior position in a public biotech company, for which she recently acquired over $22 million in active grants. She is the author of multiple publications and patents around the cancer and stem cell technology.
