Testimonials for 5 Day Challenge Program on Virtual Clinical Trials
I learned a lot from this 5-Day challenge event. Thank you, Dr. Mukesh for sharing the knowledge, you being very candid, being very logical, very critical of yourself and the industry, which is very good, that brings lot of confidence in your organization how you presented, so we appreciate that. I liked very much the budget slides you shared, how trial budget can be reduced using techniques and logical approaches. Budget was my biggest concern; I will surely be applying the knowledge and techniques to work on this front. Thanks a lot Dr. Mukesh.
- CEO, President & Cofounder (Stem Cell Therapy and Research Institute)
We have a team dedicated to recruitment, running traditional campaigns, and looking into our medical records for patients that would meet the study criteria. The main problem with our current recruiting method is that we need to have diversity in patients. Now I know that one of the benefits of virtual trial, as discussed before, is that it increases participant diversity, which would definitely benefit us.
- Associate Professor, Clinical Data Scientist
How can we sort out the incompatibility of certain institutes with the transfer of electronic medical records?" Dr. Kumar informed us that most research sites now embrace the concept of posting medical records on secure cloud platforms. This transition demonstrates a steady trend towards adopting electronic data capture methods and reflects the growing confidence in cloud-based storage solutions.
- Investigator, McGill University Health Centre
After attending the 5-Day Challenge, I'm considering doing social media crowd-sourcing. Dr. Kumar's perspective sheds light on this approach that promises access to a broader audience, but it also has the potential to expedite the recruitment process considerably. We have not started recruiting yet but have identified physicians with appropriate patients that would probably fit the criteria.
