How to Create Flow Charts for Your SOPs: Visual Tools for Increased Compliance
Date: February 26, 2025
Time: 12 PM EST
Duration: 60 Minutes
Flowcharts play a crucial role in training personnel and significantly reduce negative audit findings associated with SOP compliance by up to threefold. However, poorly created flowcharts can lead to confusion. Consider an organization with hundreds of SOPs, where each individual is expected to comply with 10-20 SOPs. The challenge lies in the lack of training on cross-functional relationships between processes, which are vital for synchronized task execution.
The majority of processes often lack a holistic view, making it challenging to grasp the overall process landscape. Flowcharts integrated within SOPs offer a solution, making it easier to remember assigned tasks and comprehend the relationships between different processes. Therefore, organizations should prioritize creating high-quality flowcharts for their SOPs. Furthermore, the implementation of multi-tier SOP flowcharts and cross-functional flowcharts can greatly enhance the quality management system (QMS) and quality manuals (QM).
Join our upcoming webinar to discover best practices for building individual SOP flowcharts and interconnected process flows. Gain insights into process mapping rules through real-world case studies and unlock the potential of visual tools to amplify compliance and streamline operations.
