Advanced Applications of AD-MSCs in Osteoarthritis: Mechanisms of Cartilage Regeneration and Tissue Engineering
Date: May 11, 2025
Duration: 60 Minutes
Time: 12 PM EST
AD-MSCs are at the forefront of regenerative orthopedic science due to their ability to modulate inflammation, support cartilage preservation, and stimulate tissue repair in osteoarthritic joints. As research expands, the role of AD-MSCs in chondrocyte activation, extracellular matrix regeneration, and tissue-engineering advances has become increasingly clear. This webinar provides an in-depth scientific review of the mechanisms through which AD-MSCs influence joint restoration and highlights emerging strategies such as scaffold-based repair and hyaluronic acid (HA) combination therapies. By understanding the cellular pathways involved, clinicians can better appreciate the critical importance of AD-MSC therapy in the early and advanced stages of osteoarthritis management.
Why you should attend?
This session is ideal for practitioners who want a deeper scientific understanding of AD-MSC-mediated cartilage regeneration. Attendees will explore the biological processes that enable MSCs to reduce inflammatory degradation, stimulate chondrocyte proliferation, and rebuild extracellular matrix components essential for joint integrity. Cutting-edge tissue-engineering approaches and real clinical examples will be discussed to help clinicians design effective, research-aligned protocols for osteoarthritis care. The webinar will clarify how AD-MSCs differ from standard treatments such as PRP or HA alone and why they are uniquely positioned in the future of joint restoration.
Areas Covered in the Session:
- Overview of AD-MSC biology and relevance in osteoarthritis
- MSC-driven chondrocyte activation and cartilage repair
- ECM regeneration and biochemical support mechanisms
- Scaffold-based and HA-enhanced tissue engineering strategies
- Reduction of inflammation and slowing of joint degeneration
- Evidence from clinical studies and imaging outcomes
- Protocol design and considerations for advanced OA patients
Who will benefit:
- Orthopedic and sports medicine clinicians
- Regenerative medicine specialists
- Physicians, NPs, PAs, and musculoskeletal practitioners
- Physical rehab and mobility experts
- Researchers in MSC therapy or tissue engineering
