The Role of Adipose-Derived MSCs in Autism Spectrum Disorder: Neuroimmune Modulation and Clinical Evidence

Date: May 10, 2025
Duration: 60 Minutes
Time: 3 PM EST

Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is increasingly understood as a condition influenced by neuroinflammation, immune dysregulation, gut-brain axis imbalance, and impaired neuronal communication. Adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells (AD-MSCs) offer a targeted therapeutic approach due to their neuroprotective, anti-inflammatory, and immune-modulating properties. AD-MSCs have demonstrated the ability to reduce microglial activation, regulate cytokine imbalance, support neuronal repair, and improve gastrointestinal dysfunction commonly associated with ASD. This webinar explores the growing clinical evidence supporting AD-MSC therapy in ASD and how cellular modulation may contribute to improvements in behavior, communication, emotional regulation, and sensory integration.

Why you should attend?

This session provides a comprehensive overview of the biological pathways that make AD-MSCs a promising modality for ASD management. Clinicians will learn how neuroimmune interactions impact ASD symptoms and how AD-MSC therapy may help restore homeostasis in the CNS and immune system. We will review clinical outcomes, trial data, and case-based improvements in communication, social engagement, and behavioral stability. The webinar will also cover considerations for patient selection, delivery methods, and safety monitoring.

Areas Covered in the Session:

  • What AD-MSCs are and their relevance in neuroimmune disorders
  • Mechanisms of neuroinflammation reduction in ASD
  • Immune modulation and cytokine balancing effects
  • Gut-brain axis stabilization and microbiome implications
  • Clinical outcomes: communication, behavior, sensory integration
  • Review of published studies and global clinical experience
  • Protocol design, safety guidance, and follow-up monitoring

Who will benefit:

  • Neurology and developmental specialists
  • Pediatric regenerative medicine providers
  • Functional and integrative medicine clinicians
  • Autism treatment centers and therapy programs
  • Physicians, NPs, PAs, and researchers in neuroimmune disorders
